I live in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, and most of my evenings end the same way. My Bible is open, my Stanley is in my hand, and I take a quiet moment to thank God for the day.
My life has not always gone the way I planned. There were seasons when I lost my way and wondered if I could ever start over. God never gave up on me, though. He met me right where I was and gave me a second chance.
The world doesn't always forget our mistakes, but God does. When we come to Him, He forgives us and remembers our sins no more. That is the love I hope every reader will feel in my books.
Along this faithful journey, I've learned that God does big things with small beginnings. Faith as small as a mustard seed can grow into something you never imagined, and one small step can lead you to a place you never knew you needed to be. Nothing in your story is wasted, because it is all part of His plan.
Every book I write points back to Him, and every verse is quoted straight from the King James Bible. Whatever season you are in, hold on to what I remind myself every day: We got this… Me & God.
