Small Beginnings
Sometimes a small beginning leads us to a place we never knew we needed to be. One idea, one new skill, one “I'll try it”: God can use the smallest step to open a door we never saw coming. Nothing is wasted with Him, not the hard seasons and not the detours. Everything happens for a reason, and it's all part of His plan.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
Every one of us has a past. Maybe you've made mistakes the world won't let you forget, or you're starting over later than you planned. Here's the good news: God gives second chances. People may remember, but when we come to Him, He chooses to forget.
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”
Hebrews 8:12 (KJV)
Small Beginnings is a growing series of simple, step-by-step books for trying something new and building it a little at a time. Each one starts right where you are, with what you already have and a lot of prayer, and grows from there. Wherever you're starting from, you are loved, you are not too late, and you don't have to do it alone.
“For who hath despised the day of small things?” (Zechariah 4:10)
Small Beginnings is a series from Faithful Journey Press.
